bought for a new XFX amd radeon 6670, for amd eyefinity, it showed up in windows 7 display and worked, so it will work in any card with display port, then went to video card program (catalyst control panel ) and set up, and the adapter,is all one peice,no cable, put into video card and eyefinity works fine at 1920 x 1080, now have 2 monitors one tv, dvi off of card and one display adapter, one hdmi cable for tv and all fits in at one time, plenty extra space, tried adapter from other makers, all had a cable, all failed quickly, is upnp, this is adapter that XFX support site recomends, PLUS LIFETIME warranty, all other junk adapters are 30 to 90 days, from $20 and up, shipped same day, thank you for the great products,
